Draft for legal review. This is a starting template written from how the product works (docs/13_subscriptions_multi_company_design.md). The company’s legal adviser must review and complete it (legal entity, address, governing courts, liability terms) before the site goes live.
Who we are
VM CRM is made by VedhasMatrix (“we”). These terms apply to every company that signs up for VM CRM (“you”) and to the people you invite to use it. By creating a workspace you agree to them.
Your workspace
- Each company gets its own CRM at its own address, kept apart from every other company’s.
- The person who signs up is the workspace’s owner and decides who else is invited and what each role can see.
- You are responsible for keeping sign-in details safe and for what your users do in the workspace.
Free trial
A new workspace is free for 14 days with up to 3 users, and no card is needed. A trial that ends without a payment becomes read only, is cancelled 7 days later, and its data is deleted 90 days after that.
Plans, payment and renewal
- You pay per user, monthly, quarterly or yearly, at the prices on the pricing page. GST at 18% is added to every invoice.
- Plans renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel.
- Users added during a period are charged for the rest of that period. Users removed come off at the next renewal; the current period isn’t refunded.
- A price change applies from your next renewal, never in the middle of a period you have paid for.
Late payment
If a renewal isn’t paid, everything keeps working for 7 days. For the next 7 days the workspace is read only: you can sign in, look and export, but not call, edit or import. Leads that arrive from your website forms and lead sources during that time are kept and shown once you pay. After that the workspace is cancelled.
Cancellation and your data
- You can cancel at any time; the workspace keeps working until the end of the period you paid for.
- Your leads, contacts and call records belong to you. You can export them while the workspace is active or read only, and for 90 days after it is cancelled.
- 90 days after cancellation the workspace and its data are deleted.
- How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use VM CRM to:
- call or message people in breach of telemarketing rules, including TRAI’s rules on Do Not Disturb preferences;
- upload contact data you have no right to use;
- break the law, send spam, or try to reach another company’s workspace or data.
We may suspend a workspace that breaks these rules, and will tell the owner why.
Availability and changes
We work to keep VM CRM available and will announce planned maintenance in advance. Features marked “Coming soon” on this website are not yet part of the service.
Liability and governing law
To be completed by the legal adviser: the limit of liability, and the courts in India that have jurisdiction.
