TELECALLING SCRIPT TEMPLATE — VM CRM Adapt the [bracketed] parts to your product. Keep it conversational, not read aloud. 1. OPENING (first 10 seconds) "Hi, am I speaking with [first name]? This is [your name] from [company]. You'd enquired about [product/service] on [source] — is this a good time for two minutes?" - If NO: "No problem — when should I call back?" -> set next follow-up, outcome: Callback requested 2. PERMISSION + PURPOSE "I'll ask a couple of quick questions so I only share what's relevant to you." 3. QUALIFICATION (pick the 3-4 that matter; record answers as custom fields) - What are you looking for exactly? [need] - When are you planning to decide? [timeline] - Is there a budget range you have in mind? [budget] - Who else is involved in the decision? [decision maker] 4. VALUE (tie one benefit to what they just told you) "Since you mentioned [their need], [one specific benefit] — for example [short proof]." 5. NEXT STEP (always end with a specific date and time) "Shall we [book a visit / send the proposal / schedule a demo] on [day] at [time]?" -> set next follow-up in the queue before you hang up 6. COMMON OBJECTIONS "It's too expensive" -> "Compared with what? ... Here is what's included ..." "Send me details on email" -> "Sure — so I send the right thing, is it [A] or [B] you care about most?" "I'm not interested" -> "Understood. May I ask what changed since you enquired?" (If they ask not to be called again: mark Do-Not-Call.) 7. WRAP-UP IN THE CRM (under 15 seconds) Outcome -> notes (1 line) -> status -> next follow-up -> Save & Next
